BSc Economics, Statistics and Mathematics (LG11)

This degree will prepare you for a career involving quantitative methods in economics. It provides an entry route for both private and public sectors as well as for further academic studies. After core courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics and quantitative analysis in the first year, you will study more applied microeconomics and macroeconomics. The wide array of optional courses in the third year will also allow you to direct your studies to the areas that interest you most. The latter could range from quantitative methods in economics and finance to corporate strategy and management of technology. In the course of your studies, you will also develop a range of transferable skills, e.g., how to work individually or in groups, how to do oral presentations, how to write essays and reports, problem solving, and proficiency in a variety of IT skills.
