Undergraduate BSc/BA degree courses in Economics
We offer three single honours degree programmes: BSc Economics, BSc Economics, Finance and Management, and BSc Economics and Finance.
If you want to combine Economics with another subject, we also offer Joint Honours programmes together with the departments of Politics, Mathematics and Geography. All of our undergraduate programmes are run on a modular system, which offers flexibility and means you benefit from being able to follow your interest in your choice of modules. You will be assigned a supervisor upon starting your degree, who will be able to advise you on your choice of courses. Please note that the joint Economics and Language programmes no longer admit new students; the information provided is for the sake of those admitted in previous years.

There is a common structure to all joint honours degrees which requires that you take at least nine modules in Economics. In each year, students should normally take all modules listed in the designated pathway, and must normally pass all core modules (indicated by “*”) in order to obtain a joint honours degree with “Economics” in the title.
