Fees and funding

Please see the College pages for information about undergraduate tuition fees.

The main additional cost students on the undergraduate programmes of the School of Economics and Finance have to bear is the purchase of key texts for each module. As a rough guide, the upper bound of textbook expenditures would typically be £250 to £300 per year per student if new books are bought. However, there is a range of options to purchase second hand books, including the second hand book market organised by the Economics Society at the beginning of each year.
Additional course material is normally made available to students free of charge, either in electronic form or in print.

The School of Economics and Finance also organises a large number of activities for their students for free, including Annual Lectures and guest speaker lectures, and the same applies to a range of events organised by the Economics Society, which is sponsored by the School. Finally, essential software for economic analysis as well as pedagogical purposes (such as Eviews) is provided free of charge by the School: it is installed on all computers and is available anywhere in campus.
