Giovanni's research interests include market microstructure and corporate finance. He focuses on the effects of asymmetric information in financial markets. He has investigated issues related to the sale of financial market information, the design of market mechanisms, and the "Beauty Contest" properties of stock prices. Giovanni has also studied the relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate governance. Giovanni is a CEPR Research Affiliate.
