Barbara’s research focuses on personnel economics and economics of education. In her first project she investigates free riding at the workplace, especially concerning absenteeism in the Italian private sector. She is currently working on a project which aims at estimating the causal effect of school quality on pupils’ performance in the UK.
Barbara holds a Master degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University and a Master degree in Economics from Queen Mary University of London.
