The SEF welcomes new members of the research staff

The SEF warmly welcomes Professor Marco Mariotti who will join us at the beginning of the 2014-15 academic year from the University of St. Andrews. Professor Mariotti is a leading scholar in Microeconomic Theory and his research focuses on bounded rationality, choice and decision theory, bargaining theory, axiomatic methods in individual and collective choice, etc. His research has been widely published in several leading economic journals such as: Econometrica, American Economic Review, Review of Economic Studies, Games and Economic Behavior, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Public Economics, Economic Journal, etc.

We also welcome a new junior member of staff, Dr Michael Neumann, who will be Lecturer in Finance in the SEF starting from the academic year 2014-15. Dr Neumann’s research interests are in empirical finance, derivatives markets, asset pricing and financial econometrics.
