Welcome to the Career Finder page at the School of Economics and Finance.

Would you like to know what careers are available to graduates in Economics and Finance? Would you like to know what careers best fit your own skills? The School of Economics and Finance has created this database by browsing through the careers available to graduates in economics and finance in industries such as banking, finance, law and public sector. The database has been put together with the invaluable help of two current students: Shweta Upadhyaya and Igor Tkachuk! Search the database by skills in order to identify the careers that best fit your own personal skills.

While studying for your degree you will develop a number of subject-specific (e.g., quantitative skills)  and transferrable skills (e.g., communication skills). Generally, by studying at University you will develop so-called graduate attributes that are embedded within the course that you are studying. However, you will also be able to further develop your skills by engaging in extra-curricular activities (e.g., Economics Society, student helper, PASS mentoring scheme). Click here to learn a little bit more on what graduate attributes and skills you can develop by engaging in extracurricular activities.
