BSc Economics and Finance (LN13)
This degree offers professional training in economics and finance, providing an excellent basis for employment in the private or state sector and for further academic study. Final year options enable you to focus on mathematical and statistical techniques in finance or more specialised areas of economics.
Course structure
In each year, LN13 students should normally take at least six out of their eight modules in Economics and Finance. Students should normally take all modules listed in the LN13 pathway, and must normally pass all core modules (indicated by “*”) in order to obtain the LN13 degree.

Assessment
Assessment is by a variety of methods including formal examinations, in-class tests, coursework of various forms, presentations and independent dissertation. Most modules will have two methods of assessment (for example a two-hour exam plus coursework).

Entry requirements
For 2011 entry we require AAB grades in A2 exams to include A2 maths.
